My Picks for Fall

The Mackage Carrie Bag / $450 / Aritzia
Available in Black and Burgundy
This would just look great with everything.

Wilfred Free Mirtle Turtleneck / $175 / Aritzia
Available in Cream and Black
This turtleneck could work in a number of different ways. It would look great overtop of a tight black maxi dress with ankle boots. It would also look great when worn with a casual pair of denim with a short and baggy leg and a pair of ankle boots.
 Wilfred Bourassa Sweater / $145 / Aritzia
Available in White and Black
Can be stretched to be off the shoulder.

Mackage Anna Jacket / $700 / Aritzia
Available in Black
I love the quilted detailing on the arms, it really adds so much to the jacket.

Basic Instinct

I think I can sum up my feelings toward these looks from Aritzia in one word: wow. I've always been a lover of Aritzia's collection of basics but this year's fall/winter collection knocks it out of the park.

I recently re-watched the last season of friends and I remembered how incredible Jennifer Aniston looked throughout the last season, especially once she got offered a job with Louis Vuitton in Paris. I specifically remembered her wearing a turtle neck with a cut out back which was very similar to the dress pictured above. Like always Aritzia seemed to read my mind and has created a dress just like it. I can't wait to get my hands on it!

Besides the dress (which I think will look incredible under the Wilfred Free, Mirte Turtleneck) the entire collection pictured above is exactly my style. The off the shoulder knit sweater is to die for! Last but not least the minimalistic style to this editorial campaign is stunning. I've always been a sucker for minimalism and Aritzia brought it home.

Randy P. Martin

Randy P. Martin

Randy P. Marting and Kanako Saski are two of many photographers that have been featured on Aritzia shopping bags. The latest bags featuring Randy P. Martin are really beautiful and I'm debating if I want to use a few of them in my new condo. The very first photo by Kanako and the final photo from Randy are two that I am debating framing. Above my bed I plan to frame a photo of the mountains that I took in Field BC. I will post the image in another post.
