Granville Island Market

Forget bed, this is what you're doing tomorrow. Throw on a big and cozy knit sweater, grab a green tea latte from starbucks and walk around Granville Island with your camera. The little island is one of my  absolute favourite places to visit with my camera. It's always bustling with people shopping and gawking at the splendour. I only wish I could indulge a little more often.

David's Tea Sangria

I went to Kitsilano Beach this past Sunday with some friends who were visiting me from out of town. It was by far the most beautiful day we have had in Vancouver this year. A friend of one of my best girlfriends brought a few pitchers of his David's Tea Sangria and was nice enough to pass along the recipe to me. The recipe is a healthier take on the popular summer drink although you hardly notice the lack of sugar. It was the most delicious and refreshing sangria I've ever tasted.

I love to run. Those are four words I never thought I would hear myself say. Ever since I moved to the beautiful city of Vancouver, running hasn't seemed like such a chore. Back in my Montreal days I would find myself running around McGill Campus at night wishing I wasn't having to run up and down hills every few minutes. The seawall is one of the most beautiful places to run everyday and it makes running one million times more enjoyable. I finally decided to invest in a good pair of runners. Nike Free's were the obvious choice for a few reasons:

You get to run barefoot! Anyone who knows me will tell you that I absolutely loath wearing socks! These shoes are so comfortable you will feel like you're running on a cloud. I'm serious!!

It's five degrees, slightly overcast but beautifully sunny in Vancouver today. It's time for a little outfit inspiration. There isn't too much on my plate, just a hair cut and a birthday dinner so I can have some fun getting ready. Last Night I had the privilege once more to shoot the Cotte D'Armes Fashion Show. The event was a great success as hundreds of people gathered at Montauk Sofa in Gastown, Vancouver to see the Spring/Summer 2013 denim collection. Models walked a long runway between hundreds of guests showing off the newest designs. The entire evening was magical. Once again I feel so lucky to have been given the opportunity to work with such talented and gracious people. Ann and Clarence put on an amazing show with the help of Empress Communications and Bond. The location was perfect as was the atmosphere amongst the guests awaiting the show.
