Le Couteau

Thanks to kinfolk I have a new café to try out in Montreal before departing. The café is located at 4627 Rue St. Denis and is called Le Couteau (The knife). According to Kinfolk the café just opened and brews 49th Parallel out of Vancouver ( More about them here). So stop by or join me tomorrow to check out this beautiful new café to pick up some fresh brew and a house-made pastry.

Coffee edition

This quaint little espresso bar is located on avenue parc across the street from provigo and just slightly up from Sherbrooke. Pikolo has the perfect cafe atmosphere accompanied by friendly servers that make the experience more enjoyable along with the chorus of steaming milk, coffee bean grinders and all the other joys that come along with sitting in a coffee shop. Not to mention the London Fog I ordered was the best one of my life, hands down. Rather than gooping up the tea with loads of unwanted vanilla syrup (I always ask for it to be unsweetened at starbucks) this little gem uses the real deal, vanilla extract and boy does it make a difference.
