Grilled Beet Burgers

Grilled Beet Burgers

I've found another Beet Burger recipe which could potentially rival my original post from Sprouted Kitchen if these are anywhere near as good as those ones were, I'll be a very happy woman.

Quinoa Cauliflower Patties

Quinoa Cauliflower Patties

I was over the moon excited this afternoon when I came across a new veggie patty recipe on my favorite food blog, Sprouted Kitchen. I will definitely be giving these a try this week and will be sure to let you know what I think. In the mean time if you'd like to try them for yourself, just click the link above.

Nike Free

Nike Free

I love to run. Those are four words I never thought I would hear myself say. Ever since I moved to the beautiful city of Vancouver, running hasn't seemed like such a chore. Back in my Montreal days I would find myself running around McGill Campus at night wishing I wasn't having to run up and down hills every few minutes. The seawall is one of the most beautiful places to run everyday and it makes running one million times more enjoyable. I finally decided to invest in a good pair of runners. Nike Free's were the obvious choice for a few reasons:

One
My friend Katie from Fashion school couldn't stop raving about them

Two
They are incredibly light weight

 Three
 They come in awesome colors

Four
You get to run barefoot! Anyone who knows me will tell you that I absolutely loath wearing socks! These shoes are so comfortable you will feel like you're running on a cloud. I'm serious!!

Just a quick thank you to my brother Kyle Foot, author of his take at (Couple of Yuppies) who gave these to me for my 22nd birthday!

Brad's Raw Leafy Kale

Brad's Raw Leafy Kale

Flavors
Pina Kale-Ada
Naked
Nasty Hot
Vampire Killer
Nacho

Okay, once again I'm going to gawk about food. Today I stumbled upon some per-packaged Kale Chips at Whole Foods and I thought to myself "yum Kale Chips, I like those" so I bought them and let me tell you, I will keep buying them as long as I can get my hands on them! They were so delicious. At the time I had no idea there were multiple flavors so I just grabbed the Nasty Hot which turned out to be a great choice. The chips are absolutely delicious, and they have Kale in them so they can't be that bad for you. In fact the story behind Brad's Raw Leafy Kale is one surrounded around a healthy diet and lifestyle. So next time you stumbled into a package of these delicious kale chips, pick one up!
